Restylane, Juvederm, and Perlane are crystal-clear gels which are the same as a natural skin substance called hyaluronic acid. These treatments have essentially replaced collegen as the preferred filler treatment. Hyaluronic acid is a sophisticated substance that retains 1,000 times its weight in water, retaining moisture in your skin.
